@vexations - thanks! It was a sunrise... we got up at 6:30 every morning to go out while the sun was coming up and it was different every single day of the week we were there! This day there were clouds.... sigh

I could tell it was sunrise because of the color of the light, and because the beach was clean of footprints, swept by the tide.
